# Submitting Forecasts

How to submit forecasts, what happens after, and the rules to know.

A forecast is the precise price you believe an asset will reach at settlement time.

## How to Submit

1. Browse available markets
2. Open a **Live** market
3. Enter your price forecast
4. Confirm the entry fee (minimum 10 USDT/USDC)
5. Submit — the platform relays your signed forecast and records it on-chain after confirmation

## Place Multiple Forecasts at Once

You can place several forecasts for the same live market in one submission. This is useful when you have a range of possible settlement prices instead of one exact price, or when you want to place a few forecasts around the price you consider most likely.

### When to use multiple forecasts

* **Cover a range:** enter prices at several levels when the market could move within a wider range.
* **Express different levels of confidence:** place more forecasts near your strongest view and fewer at less likely prices.
* **Plan for volatility:** use prices above and below the current price when a sharp move in either direction is possible.

Each forecast is evaluated independently. Placing more forecasts does not guarantee a reward, and each one has its own entry fee.

### How to place multiple forecasts

1. Open a **Live** market and enter your first price.
2. Select **Add More Forecast** to add another price row.
3. Enter a different price in each row. The form shows how each price compares with the current market price.
4. Review the entry fee for each forecast and the combined total.
5. Check the remaining forecast capacity shown for your account and the market.
6. Select **Submit Forecasts** and review the list of prices in the confirmation dialog.
7. Confirm the submission.

Each accepted price is placed in the same live market, and you can see accepted forecasts individually in **My Predictions** after confirmation. If only some prices are accepted, the remaining prices stay in the form so you can review or retry them.

Make sure the total entry amount fits your available balance. Submitted forecasts are permanent and cannot be edited, cancelled, or refunded.

The market may set a lower limit than the platform maximum. If you reach the available limit or capacity, **Add More Forecast** and **Submit Forecasts** become unavailable.

## Rules

| Rule               | Detail                                                                                                                                 |
| ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| When               | Only during **Live** phase (first \~70% of duration)                                                                                   |
| Modification       | Cannot be modified or cancelled after submission                                                                                       |
| Multiple forecasts | Add several prices and submit them together, within the event's published total and per-user limits; the per-user limit is at most 100 |
| Minimum fee        | 10 USDT/USDC per forecast                                                                                                              |
| Gas fees           | Zero — platform handles all blockchain costs                                                                                           |
| Duplicate warning  | Platform alerts if exact same price already submitted                                                                                  |
| Recording          | Permanent on-chain record via gasless meta-transaction                                                                                 |

## Gasless Submission

When you submit a forecast:

1. You sign a message confirming your forecast and entry fee
2. The platform batches and relays the transaction to the blockchain
3. Your forecast is recorded permanently on-chain after confirmation
4. Your rank appears in the live rankings after the platform receives and indexes the confirmation

You never need to:

* Hold gas tokens
* Approve smart contracts
* Manage nonces or transaction settings
* Wait for blockchain confirmations

## Quick Mode

Enable **Skip Confirmation** for faster submissions when you're confident in your forecast.

## After Submission

* Your forecast appears in the live rankings after confirmation and indexing
* Rankings update every second as the oracle price moves
* You can submit additional forecasts while the event's published total and per-user limits allow
* Monitor your position until settlement
