## Trust Model

Uniocean's transparency is built on multiple independent layers:

* **Oracle independence** — Settlement prices from Pyth Network (platform cannot influence)
* **Blockchain immutability** — All predictions and settlements permanently recorded on-chain
* **Validator consensus** — Independent nodes must agree before any settlement is approved
* **Deterministic algorithm** — Same inputs always produce the same results
* **Public audit reports** — Full data published for every settled market
* **Merkle proof verification** — Anyone can cryptographically verify any reward
