# Bucket Winners

Bucket Winners are winners in the top 51% who are not Rankers. They form the majority of winners in any market and receive guaranteed multiplier rewards.

## Reward Range

| Position             | Reward Multiplier       | Example (10 USDT/USDC entry) |
| -------------------- | ----------------------- | ---------------------------- |
| Best Bucket Winner   | Up to 1.6x entry fee    | 16 USDT/USDC                 |
| Middle Bucket Winner | \~1.5x entry fee        | 15 USDT/USDC                 |
| Last Bucket Winner   | At least 1.4x entry fee | 14 USDT/USDC                 |

## Smooth Ramp

Rewards are not flat across all Bucket Winners. Instead, they follow a smooth ramp:

The better your rank within the bucket, the closer your reward is to 1.6x. This incentivizes accuracy even among Bucket Winners — every rank position matters.

## Guaranteed Returns

Every Bucket Winner is guaranteed a positive return:

* **Minimum**: 1.4x entry fee (40% profit)
* **Maximum**: 1.6x entry fee (60% profit)

This means in a market with a 10 USDT/USDC entry fee, even the last Bucket Winner earns 14 USDT/USDC — a guaranteed 4 USDT/USDC profit.

## Who Doesn't Win?

Positions 52–100 (the bottom 49%) do not receive any payout. Their entry fees contribute to the reward pool distributed to in-the-money forecasters.
