# Referral Overview

Users can earn ongoing commission by referring others to the platform.

## How It Works

1. Get your unique referral link from the Referral section
2. Share it with friends, communities, or social media
3. New users sign up using your link or code
4. When they participate in markets that settle, you earn commission
5. Commission is credited automatically to your wallet

## Commission Source

Commissions are funded by the platform and credited automatically to your wallet after market settlement. Your referrals' rewards are never reduced — commissions do not come from participant reward pools.

## Referral Levels

| Level   | Who                | Description                               |
| ------- | ------------------ | ----------------------------------------- |
| Level 1 | Direct referrals   | Users who signed up with your link        |
| Level 2 | Indirect referrals | Users signed up by your Level 1 referrals |

Multi-level referrals reward active community builders. Each referral code can have its own commission rates and depth configuration.

## Multiple Referral Codes

Users can create multiple referral codes for different channels:

* One for Twitter/X
* One for LinkedIn
* One for direct messages
* One for community groups

This allows tracking which channels are most effective.
