# Deposits

Learn how to add funds to your wallet.

Users need wallet funds before submitting forecasts.

All forecasts use **USDT** or **USDC**, depending on the market. The minimum entry fee is **10 USDC/USDT** per forecast.

## Before You Deposit

Markets accept either **USDT** or **USDC**. Check the individual market details to confirm which token is required.

## Deposit Methods

| Method         | Description                                                  |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Direct deposit | Send USDT or USDC directly to your wallet address on Polygon |
| Bridge         | Transfer funds from another supported chain into your wallet |

## Direct Deposit (Polygon)

Uniocean operates on **Polygon** as its native chain. If you hold USDT or USDC on Polygon, you can deposit directly:

1. Navigate to the **Wallet** section of the platform
2. Copy your wallet address or scan the QR code shown
3. Send USDT or USDC from your external Polygon wallet to that address
4. Funds appear in your balance once the transaction confirms (typically within a few seconds on Polygon)

## Bridge from Another Chain

If your funds are on a different network, bridge them to your Uniocean wallet:

1. Navigate to the **Wallet** section and select **Bridge**
2. Choose your source chain and the amount to bridge
3. Confirm the transaction in your external wallet
4. Bridged funds arrive in your Uniocean wallet once the bridge completes

Supported source chains for bridging:

* Ethereum
* Arbitrum
* Optimism
* Base
* BNB Chain
* Tron

## Funding Summary

You can fund your wallet in two main ways:

| Method                   | Description                                             |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Deposit crypto           | Send USDT or USDC directly to your wallet address       |
| Bridge from other chains | Transfer funds from supported networks into your wallet |

> **Important**
>
> Always use the correct token (USDT or USDC) and network. Sending unsupported tokens or using the wrong network may result in permanently lost funds. The platform cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses or networks.
